Satoru Iwata was the much loved Nintendo President who sadly passed away in 2015. From his hilarious hosting duties of the many Nintendo Direct presentations through to his famous quote, “On my business card, I am a corporate president. In my mind, I am a game developer. But in my heart, I am a gamer.” So it was very welcome to see that the latest...

This review is late, very late in fact but there's a very good reason why this review of Super Mario Odyssey is late. Probably the last one to hit the interwebs and the reason is...I just couldn't tear myself away from it. It's so perfectly crafted from the bite sized levels to the exquisite music playing throughout the levels. The story is predictable to say...

Hey! Pikmin makes a fun-filled, adventurous debut on the Nintendo 3DS in a game that is charming, cutesy and above all else fun. It's Pikmin but not as you know it as the familiar 3/4 overhead perspective is changed to a side scrolling game that sees Captain Olimar crash landing on a planet, meeting and befriending many different types of Pikmin. Anyone familiar to the game...

Splatoon 2 picks up where its predecessor left off on the Wii U. Delivering more fun, action, cutesy visuals and ink loads of shenanigans that feel more at home on the Switch than ever. So just quickly in case you're not familiar with the Splatoonverse, the main gameplay consists of 4 on 4 battle where your squid avatar is armed with a variety of weapon...

The Nintendo Switch has been out and selling for a few months now but even in its native Japan, people are still clamouring to buy one with thousands of people queueing for only a few hundred available in stores. Don't believe me? Check out these pics from Tokyo and Osaka where not hundreds but thousands braved the Japanese Summer (read: hot and humid) for 250...

New commercials have recently hit Japan for the forthcoming Dragon Quest XI. It'd be great to say these ads are for the Australian release but no...it's the Japan release. These ads are only for the Nintendo 3DS and the PS4 release while strangely the Nintendo Switch version is conspicuously absent. Anyways, enjoy the TV spots below. https://youtu.be/BhfIyTOyaow https://youtu.be/xvT5P88WUDE https://youtu.be/tJj8qkyIA94 https://youtu.be/NucpavRWK4s https://youtu.be/QxoB2XNIFgs https://youtu.be/nF-R-PhXmuU https://youtu.be/OvlC8zgZI3k And if...

This post is a bit moot seeing as how every man and his dog knows about this but here it is anyways. Nintendo are following up the mega successful release off the NES Mini with the news that now a SNES Mini is being released in September. It will retail for $119.95 and it'll ship with the following games:   Contra 3: The Alien Wars...
I was lucky enough to attend the media Nintendo Switch press event before the console was launched and had an absolute blast and great time. There were so many games to play from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Breath Of The Wild, Splatoon 2 and many more gems. However there was one game that for me really stood out among some of these AAA titles and...

The Nintendo Switch is still fairly new to the market but news recently broke that one of the biggest franchises is coming its way. Monster Hunter XX will be appearing on the Nintendo Switch, which comes as no surprise to anyone, and will be hitting stores in Japan on August 25th.
