It's time for a Gamer Girl update and believe me when I tell you that this girl's previous post still continues to be one of the most hit up pages on japandaman.com. It's the return of Hylia Fawkes aka Hylia Suicide! Hylia is a bonafide serious gamer girl with a massive collection of current gen consoles and past retro ones as well. And her massive...

This review is late, very late in fact but there's a very good reason why this review of Super Mario Odyssey is late. Probably the last one to hit the interwebs and the reason is...I just couldn't tear myself away from it. It's so perfectly crafted from the bite sized levels to the exquisite music playing throughout the levels. The story is predictable to say...
Yes, it's that time of year again when we all get excited as the Madman Anime Festival rolls into Melbourne for 2017. Last year was the debut of the festival, put together by Australia's largest distributor of quality anime, manga and heaps more otaku goodies, Madman. 2017 also saw the festival branch out to Perth and Brisbane before hitting up Melbourne for the last local...
Our favourite videographers, Rescue The Princess, are at it again, this time giving the rest of the world a look at Halloween time in Japan! And as usual, there's many cool sights with loads of interesting people, cosplays and just general shenanigans. This was filmed at the street party in Shibuya which I need to get to one year :) https://youtu.be/8ce2Dl9K76I

Now here's something that looks absolutely beautiful. Chinese artist, STARshadowmagic, took it upon themselves to reimagine some of the Disney Princesses with gorgeous kimonos completely transforming the characters into something different and amazing to look at. Some of the characters aren't Princesses but they're still beautiful nonetheless. Yes, you read that right. We’ve seen burgers with black squid ink and another one with strawberry sauce and now there’s one for DBZ fans. How delicious does that look? No beef patty but a crumbed chicken slice complete with a Dragon Ball and French Fries. If you want to get your hands on this, it’s being served up at J-World, Ikebukuro.
